choosing The Leather
The washed leather used on our bags is by far the thickest, most luxurious that I have found and only gets better with age. In the washing process, characteristics such as small lines & marks in the natural leather show through giving each bag it's own individual style. Even the hardware will obtain a vintage antique brass finish. We say
"perfectly imperfect".
Leather Preparation
Each bag is made with undyed leather and goes through a 7-step process of vegetable dying, rinsing, and drying in large washing machines and air drying for 5-7 days. They finally get ironed and moisturized. It is a long journey but in the end, what's develop is a beautiful rich patina and deep depth of color. Learn More
